I have been using this locally owned and operated shop since 2005 and as far as I am concerned there is no other repair shops in Seattle Chris is fantastic and thorough. Sam is personable and keeps me informed as to progress.

Detailed, professional, and all around great service. Only been for an oil change so far but they impressed me.

I normally don't have any problems after a repair job but this time I did, and Alex was very responsive and accommodating to get my car in and get the concern checked out and it was diagnosed and corrected very quickly. They are so easy to work with and my confidence remains intact.

Used for the first time for routine maintenance on my 2016 F150. Great experience all around - friendly staff, quick responses, clear estimate before starting any work. They even skipped one of the steps listed because they determined it wasn't needed (tire rotation - actually just had done recently at Les Schwab) and thus came in under estimate. Great sign of an honest service provider as I know others would have just done it anyway or say they had for the extra bucks. Definitely going back when next need any service.

It was a sad day today when I learned that my 15-year-old Prius needs a new hybrid battery, and the cost for parts and labor is going to be extremely expensive and it would probably be more sensible and cost-effective to just get a new car. Sam talked through my options with me and never pressured me into spending a lot of money on the replacement battery and repairs. He even gave me some helpful resources (car dealers, websites, dependable car brands, what to think about when buying a used car, etc.) if that is what I decide to do. Sam was very thorough, patient, and answered all my questions. I have been taking my cars to Chris for repairs since before he even opened WS Auto Works (before 2004), and he has always been professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest! They take excellent care of my old VW bug. Oil change is a given, but they also fixed an ongoing problem with a headlight. They’re friendly, professional and prompt.

I deliver packages with Amazon Flex. I accidentally locked my keys in the car at about 6:45pm. I currently do not have roadside assistance and any business I could call would definitely cost me money that I dont have. Fortunately for me I was parked on the same street as West Seattle Autoworks. The business was clearly closed but I knocked on the window hoping someone might be inside. Cameron walked out and I explained the situation and he did not hesitate to help me. He grabbed his gear and opened my door within 30 seconds! Saved my butt and my bank account! Cameron very easily could have said no. The business was closed and he could have just told me to go away. He even could have charged me for his service. Cameron helped me out of the kindness of his heart. Theres not many decent people left in this world but West Seattle Autoworks is definitely employing them! Thank you guys so much!

I had a very serious engine malfunction and I could not find any shop to take me in in less than a week. Alex at Auto works got me in and completed the job in a day. Great service and super work. My new go to shop.
