my fuel pump went out last week and I had to have it towed to the shop. They did a great job getting the new one installed. But when i picked it up the gas pedal was on the floor and wouldn't push down. Not very safe to release the truck. Today, I go to Costco to get gas and dumped a bunch of gas on the ground. I look under the truck and there is gas all over the place and the filler tube is hanging and not installed and no clamps to hold them tube in place either. A second reason not to release the truck me with the possibility of fire or explosion. And of course can't get in touch with anyone on the weekend.
Jon, you are absolutely right. We should have not released your vehicle to you. The potential for a safety issue to arise is unacceptable and we will be addressing this situation internally. Thank you for coming back and allowing us to fix the hoses this morning.
