I have an old German sports car that I loving refer to as The Rattle Trap, but I sure to love to tinker with it and drive it around. Recently, I had a problem that exceeded my skill set. Having driven past West Seattle Autoworks I spied cars just like mine a time or two, I felt like that was a good sign! When I finally admitted defeat on a couple of blown fuel pump relays I decided to have the my little old car towed here. I sent them an email (through Yelp, and they got back to me really fast!) to warn them that an ancient trouble maker was on its way. Everyone I spoke with there seemed pretty excited to track down the problem! A few days later I had a diagnosis and I picked up my now perfectly running rust bucket! Really, it was a diagnosis of what they knew wasn't wrong, which I found really helpful! If you are into old German cars, you realize that knowing what the problem is NOT is half the battle. The charges were exactly what I expected and I felt super comfortable and confident through the entire experience. Things I love about this place: -timely updates -they texted me! (during the workday, I really appreciate this since I can't always find time to return a call) -clean and organized shop -friendly staff -clear repair cost explanation My other car is newer and really low maintenance, but for both of my rides West Seattle Autoworks will be my go-to from now on.
